No contexto psicológico o homúnculo é a representação diagramática proporcional do corpo animal em relação às partes destes, representadas no córtex somestésico e motor. Na filosofia, a hipótese do Homúnculo é usada na detecção de erros e falhas em teorias da auto consciência.Um minúsculo homem operando dentro da cabeça de um homem maior e dentro da cabeça desse minúsculo homem, outro, ainda menor… E assim por diante. Correlações de mim com a parte homuncular de mim mesmo. Atos espontâneos multiplicados em espelhos.

Um dos membros inicia uma contagem de 2010 à zero, percorrendo numericamente os anos, da Idade Moderna até o início do calendário Gregoriano.

Outro membro escreve de zero à 2010 num quadro negro. Usando giz branco, ele reverte a contagem do primeiro integrante.

Durante este processo os cérebros dos membros falham, deixando-os perdidos em turbilhões de números.

One member starts a count of zero to 2010, covering the years numerically, the Modern Age to the beginning of the Gregorian calendar.

Another member writes from zero to 2010 on a blackboard. Using white chalk, he reverts the count of the first member.

Uma sinistra procissão adentra uma rua estreita e escura, ladeada por casarões antigos. Uma caixa de madeira é arrastada por um membro, enquanto outros dois posicionam um pano branco circular no chão, representando a vida em seu ciclo infinito. Nesse pano, um integrante ajoelha-se e se auto-imola, sangrando profusamente de seu ventre vinho tinto, um sacrifício por todas as nossas dores. Um integrante auxilia com pedaços disformes de algodão, representando os falsos paliativos da nossa sociedade corrupta. Um terceiro integrante abre um livro e inicia uma litania de trevas, enquanto o quarto perverte a atmosfera com uma sonorização clássica de filmes de terror. Risadas infantis são ouvidas da platéia, e o oficiante da litania retira uma calculadora do bolso e começa a gargalhar: calcula o número de almas que irá amealhar ao fim do espetáculo. O auxiliador recobre o imolado em algodão e este último volta a perfurar-se e emitir novos jatos de sangue-vinho. Gritos de horror saem da caixa de madeira fechada, que é surrada por uma corda enquanto o auxiliador embrulha o imolado no pano branco; nossa vida ensanguentada é nossa própria mortalha. O imolado esforça-se por “renascer” de sua própria vida, simbolizando a libertação do jugo auto-imposto que todos carregamos. Os gritos das almas penadas continuam mesclados ao som apavorante, ao que a caixa, como a Caixa de Pandora, é aberta e os gritos cessam: seu horror agora ficará na mente dos espectadores. A caixa é despedaçada com fúria, simbolizando a irreversibilidade das tragédias humanas. Por fim, um a um os integrantes se dispersam, e o recitador das litanias termina sua participação numa calma leitura de seu livro de almas perdidas.

Num solapar de últimas esperanças por sentido, a performance inicia com um integrante devorando galinha frita em uma cumbuca de macumba. Outro integrante descalço fica sentado e joga xadrez com os pés, como um primata. Em meio a essa e outras atitudes primitivas, recorre a frases de efeito em latim, escandinavo, islandês, russo, finlandês e outras línguas. Ubi est cerevisia mea? Clama para uma platéia atônita. Nesse momento, o que comia frango passa a vomitá-lo de volta à cumbuca, de onde vem a comer o próprio vômito repetidas vezes. O horror orgânico pelo repelente, o choque entre o intelectual e o primitivo, a música etérea e a action painting se fusionam numa força instável e destruidora, que derruba as represas emocionais da audiência jogando-a de volta ao seu eu mais profundo e reprimido.

Durante horas, um integrante fica estático, embalado em sacos de lixo. É carregado como um cadáver por seus amigos, numa pseudo procissão irritada. Entre xingamentos e atitudes violentas, cadeiras são chutadas e uma caixa de madeira é arrastada desajeitadamente através da platéia. Gritos ecoam de dentro da caixa: poderia mesmo ser a Caixa de Pandora. Como que evidenciando esse fato, um integrante verte gelatina liquefeita de uma cumbuca, aludindo ao sangue metafórico que é derramado pelos artistas. Os instrumentos sonoros são esquecidos; farinha de trigo é consumida em doses cavalares como se fosse uma gigantesca carreira de cocaína. Não há lógica na performance, pois não há lógica na violência. Um anticlímax grotesco, um polvo é despedaçado e o ambiente arruinado pelos miasmas constrangedores gerados pelos artistas.

“Quando Bobby Fischer morreu, a lógica da feitiçaria morreu junto com ele. Esta performance não pretende ser uma homenagem, é, antes disso, uma tentativa de perfilar o comportamento desse monstro contraditório”.

Esta performance se valeu amplamente do acaso e do improviso, utilizando materiais e elementos disponíveis nos locais em que foi executada.

Uma oferenda ritualística é oferecida a entidades desconhecidas.

Ocorrem fenômenos catárticos de “quase possessão” e lutas espirituais indecifráveis.

Um telefone antigo toca.

Peças de xadrez são permutadas por pedaços de queijo e linguiça, metáfora do consumo de informação dentro das “tele cities”.

Ocorrem manobras oníricas, roubos, blefes, agressão física e gargalhadas desmoralizantes.

“When Bobby Fischer has died, the logic of witchcraft died along with him. This performance is not intended as a tribute, it is rather an attempt to profile the behavior of this contradictory monster. ”

Um garrafão de vidro com dez litros de água é posicionado em frente ao telão.

A atmosfera sonora é acionada a partir de improvisos com arco de violino em cadeiras metálicas.

5kg de farinha são espalhados em frente ao palco na direção do público. Essa farinha é alinhada usando um rodo, remetendo a uma carreira de cocaína.

Lentamente um integrante amarra um pano sujo ao rosto e rasteja sobre o pó. Finalizando a carreira, um polvo morto é instalado sobre seu rosto. Logo após, o polvo é desmembrado e inserido dentro do garrafão tornando a água escura e turva.

Ao final, um teclado de computador é destruído.
